Veilstone Game Corner

Right in the center of Veilstone City is located the Game Corner, covered in strings of lights, and flashing neon lights. This place couldn't be more unmissable. People form all over the world travel here to take part in the unique events including the [i]Sinnoh Races[/i] and the [i]Lucky Guess[/i]. Back by popular demand is the Sinnoh variant of the [i]Battle Roulette[/i] from Johto as well. In the casino, you can stock up coins with your Coin Case and gamble them to try and increase your count. If you save up enough coins, eventually you can exchange them for great prizes at the exchange counter. To start things off, let's explain the attractions!

Sinnoh Races:
This is a very simple racing system where you can enter one of your Pokémon against 5 others. Each of the entrants will be given odds relating to their chances of winning. You then bet on who you reckon will win. You do not have to bet on you own Pokémon if you feel they wont win the race. There is, however, a limit on how much you can bet and that is 100 Coin. You may choose to enter this as many times as you like.

Lucky Guess:
This games is similar to Black Jack in the sense that it uses the counting system it uses. This game offers winnings based on how close you get to the guess you make. First you gamble no more than 50 Coin and then must guess what score the cards will give you. You will then be dealt two cards and the prizes are awarded as follows:

[*]Correct guess - triple return.
[*]Within two of the correct value - double.
[*]Between 2 and 5 from the correct guess - money returned.
[*]Greater than that - no return.
[/list]Also, if you guess 21 as the score and get "Black jack" (Ace/10, Ace/Jack, Ace/ Queen, or Ace/King) you return 5 times what you put down.

Battle Roulette - Sinnoh Style:

You will be given three Pokémon that will follow your every command for you to use in the battles. Each match is 1 vs 1 and you may not use items. Before every battle, you may gamble up to 1000 Coin on the match. The match will be scored as follows:
Win a type-paired down match - triple return.
Win an 'equal' battle - double return
Win a type-paired up match - 1.25x return.
Lose a match - no return.

After every battle, you will "spin" a roulette that is determined by Random Number Generator. The outcome will do one of the following:

[*]Swap your third Pokémon with theirs
[*]Faint one of your Pokémon
[*]Heal one of your Pokémon
[*]Allow you to know what Pokémon you will face in the next round.
