Things are simple here, a few cliffs and hills, but mostly grassland and forest. the Pokémon here are mostly harmless, and it's a perfect route for beginners. Few actual trainers exist here, and it really is short- it doesn't take a long time to get to Oldale, however long it takes you, it's not a long route.
