Searching for Attacks: Quest for Silver Wind/Poison Jab
If you can manage being on your bicycle in this wet weather, then you will be able to make your way across the specialised bike paths, or rails if you will to an area that is well off the beaten path. Here you can find two trainers you use the place to train. One has a Dustox and the other, a Beautifly. And as a finishing move to the fight, the male with the Beautifly brings out an attack known as Silver Wind. You find it so amazing, that you ask whether he could teach one of you Pokémon how to use it.
"Yeah sure, I'll do that as long as you do something for me," he grins. "You'll have to catch me first!"
He runs into the grassed area that is extremely overgrown and disappears from sight very quickly. You will need HM 01 Cut and the Bicycle to attempt this challenge and if you wish to, say so as you enter the Route.
If you by-pass the early bike-specific path, you will have to walk through the swampy ground to reach the lake. However, right in the centre of the lake there is a Toxicroak. This guy looks like he means business and prevents people from traveling passed him by using his famous Poison Jab move and forcing them to return to the Pokémon Centre to be healed. Of course, this is by-passable if you choose to by taking the bike-specific path to an island well passed the Toxicroak, which means you will still have to use Surf to get to Veilstone. However, if you manage to knock the Toxicroak of his perch, he will be happy to teach one of your Pokémon his special move. Note: if you try to capture the Toxicroak, he will bat the PokéBall away, and you will lose it in the swamp.
In order to attempt this challenge, you will need access to HM 03 Surf. If you wish to give it a shot, say so as you enter the Route.
