Looking For a Gym Leader?

Well look no further! Yes, it is well known that Volkner, the Leader of the Sunyshore City Beacon Gym is no longer interested in holding his title as there is no-one who can beat him any more. Instead, he spends his time manning the Vista Lighthouse. Fortunately for you, there is also a Thunder Stone inside the light of the Lighthouse. It can't be that easy right?

"...I wouldn't do that if I were you..." croaks an unmotivated guy with yellow hair and a yellow-studded blue jacket sitting behind behind you. But greed takes control of your movements, and the moment you touch the stone your whole body is fried by the Discharge of a single Pachirisu. When you can move, you turn to see the offending Pachirisu backed by two Luxio and an Electabuzz. It seems you wont be able to get out of this one without a fight. Also, should you defeat your opponents and obtain the Thunder Stone, Volkner ma well deem you as a worthy opponent and agree to a match in his gym.

It seems Volkner just won't go back to his gym unless you show off how strong you are. If you wish to tackle this challenge, say so in the new thread you make when you enter the Lighthouse. This challenge is repeatable.
